Since
formation in October 1985, the Club has been dedicated to providing
an opportunity for those interested in flying with the economy of shared
expenses in a safe and responsible environment. The Club also provides
and opportunity for ultralight owners to fly with others and participate
in organised competitions, fly-always to other clubs and other social
events.
By joining, you'll enjoy training in our AUF approved two seater aircraft, regular newsletters keeping you informed of Club activities, monthly meetings with topical speakers and videos on ultralight topics.
The Club operates within easy reach of the Sydney metropolitan area at "The Oaks" airfield located 12 Kms southwest of Camden. When you are ready to take up flying your costs will be minimal - about half the cost of training in General Aviation aircraft.
The Club was formed by flying enthusiasts to share the joys of flying with fellow aviators inexpensively. The dilemma of purchasing an aircraft before having on different types before deciding which to buy is now solved. We train in the Hughes Lightwing two seater, a widely regarded aircraft type which has proven to be an excellent trainer. Other aircraft are available from time to time to suitably endorsed pilots.
