Holden
Dynamics has over 25 years of practical "hands on"
experience
with Computers and related systems. We were pioneers in introducing
the Internet to Australians
We
now provide 2 options of Webhosting:
Both provide state-of-the-art service and reliability, 24/7
technical back-up and support.
To answer an often asked question, we have as much control and
responsibility over one as the other - we (like other companies)
are resellers/aggregators of their services to meet the needs
of our customers. All contact with the hosting companies takes
place via telephone, fax or email - so physical proximity is
not an issue. The criteria for judging is therefore reliability,
speed and cost. We have found both providers equally reliable
with ample speed.
The decision for customers comes down to:
1. cost and
2. comfortability with your site being hosted outside Australia
The
choice is yours !

Overview
of our US Datacentre |
| |
| |
The
Data Hosting Centre we utilise owns and operates two state-of-the-art
data centers in secure locations in the US, offering complete
redundancy in power, HVAC, fire suppression, network connectivity,
and security. With over 53,000 sq ft of raised floor between
the two facilities, their datacenter facility sits atop
multiple power grids driven by TXU electric, with PowerWare
UPS battery backup power and dual diesel generators onsite.
Their HVAC systems are condenser units by Data Aire to
provide redundancy in cooling coupled with ten managed
backbone providers. Twelve more third party backbone providers
are available in their buildings via cross connect. Fire
suppression includes a pre-action dry pipe system including
VESDA (Very Early Smoke Detection Apparatus) with over
700 smoke detectors between the two facilities. |

The
Data Centre network architecture utilises the Enterprise
routing and switching engines from Juniper and Cisco.
They utilise Juniper M20 routers as border routers, Cisco
6500 series switches in our distribution layer and Cisco
6500 switches in our aggregation layers, and Cisco 3500
and 2900 series switches at the customer layer. Their
network is fully meshed and redundant with 11 backbone
providers. |
